GROW YOUR OWN VEGETABLES:
The Miss Earth South Africa Organization took on supporting a community outreach programme that would see hundreds of 100% Biodegradable vegetable booklets being hand assembled by community members who are without employment. As part of the organization’s ethos to support sustainable living, greening the minds of children and creating a new and alternative manner in which vegetable gardens are looked at. To teach children to grow vegetables is a valuable tool for healthy living and self sustainability. If you would like to pick fresh healthy food from your garden, teach your children the benefits of gardening. Having fresh veggies available for friends, family, swapping or selling, or just to have the joy of working the soil is all beneficial to your health and the Earth.
