“Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago”- Warren Buffet

Seyisi Primary in KwazaKhele is one of my absolute favourite schools in Port Elizabeth! I have visited this school a couple of times for various Miss Earth activities.

I visited this school again on Monday the 21st of August to plant 10 more indigenous trees at this beautiful school.  Together with my special green warriors, we have now successfully planted 30 trees at Seyisi Primary during the months of May to August.  It is so wonderful to come back and see how well the trees are being looked after.

I just love working with Nomonde, one of the teachers at this school.  She is in charge of the school vegetable garden.  She is one of the most amazing women you will ever meet, and the pride she takes in her garden is so heart warming.

A huge thank you to the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipal Nursery for sponsoring me with 10 of the most beautiful trees to plant at the school.

Seyisi Primary is looking so beautiful, and with the recent rains we have had the garden is flourishing well! I feel so proud to be a part of the beautiful Seyisi family!
