What a great GreEn week!!
Bikini and evening wear judging on Wednesday @ Sandton Sun, I think we all got a nice tan on the deck. J
Dress fittings at Designers. Tree planting @ Garden world together with Margaret Roberts on Thursday. They had one garden kids designed and recycled plastic into bright flowers!
Educating day at Zoo for kids we enjoyed it as much as the kids did! They did water wise projects, learned about the animals in the Zoo, we also planted as tree together for arbor month.
We did our green presentations and talent show today (Saturday)…. Girls you were all amazing loved the talent show! (I’m still singing in my head) 
Can’t wait for the next week…

As Marco and Kobus drove in a hummer today Dominique and I bought them each a shirt from Due South.
For Arbour Day they are planting a tree for every shirt sold! It’s brilliant!!!

As the Finalists for Miss Earth SA 2010 we would like to thank you for the wonderful day we shared together today.
As being “glam” can sometimes hurt, our feet were very happy to meet your welcoming and warm hearted students who pampered us with such willing hearts.
We found the students very professional and of the highest standard. All the girls thoroughly enjoyed their treatments and were extremely grateful for the time taken to put our nerves at ease.
Thank you continues as you treated us like queens with yummy healthy snacks and beverages.
Your accommodation was much appreciated and I’m positive you will see many of the Miss Earth faces returning

Good day ladies
Thank you so much for an awesome time at the Bijan hair salon.
We had a lot of fun palying around with Liesel and Ella.I was wearing a smile of note the whole time until I went to bed. Our hair was done so beautifully, we looked like Green Divas!
We really do appreciate all that you do for us and it was refreshing to lay back a bit and enjoy being pampered. The fruits of being a “Earth Diva” are gratifying sigh…
My mom was very happy to see me with my new hairdo, I saw a proud look on her face… priceless.
A huge thank you Larry at Bijan and all his cheerful team for treating us like royalty.

Today Nicole, Deborah, Tricia, Nondy and Nobontu visitied Reddam High School and were guests at the Grade 11 assembly. The assembly was very entertaining with live performances from fire dancers, singing and yo-yo tricksters. We were able to speak to the school about E-waste as Reddam is one of the schools that has an E-waste bin sponsorsed by Acer and Miss Earth SA. We were given the opportunity to tell learners of the importance of propoer E-waste recycling - the learners were very receptive and eager to get started!
After the assembly we ‘visited’ their E-waste bin and were very excited to see that already some e-waste had gathered in the bin! We left Reddam confident that the learners had learnt alot about E-waste and the bin will definately be used!
