For the year of their reign, the Miss Earth South Africa winners will be required to be an ambassador for environmental projects and initiatives as run by the organisation. The Miss Earth South Africa winners become a spokeswomen for the organisation. They will meet and engage with people from around the country from all walks of life. They become Green Goddesses and icons to children from across our rainbow nation. One of the four winners will be selected to represent South Africa at the international Miss Earth event in South East Asia.
